Big MAF Thanks to Goldman Sachs
Goldman Sachs: Community TeamWorks
Each year Goldman Sachs runs a Community TeamWorks scheme, where employees are given the opportunity to volunteer themselves for a days work with a non-profit organisation. MAF was very fortunate that last month, Michael de Lathauwer along with Steve Cracknell, Othman Hamilou, Mizan Rahman, Sam Cornish, Tina Raja & Bo Zhao decided that they would like to use their day to help MAF. The main focus of the meeting was a brainstorming session to gauge where MAF has come since the last meeting and how we should proceed in order to maximise the potential of the work that we do. The day involved important discussions about raising awareness of the MAF brand, future fundraising strategies and potential partnership avenues, amongst other things. It was very positive to develop our focus and a great success with ideas from many different perspectives being thrown up and discussed. Since this meeting MAF has successfully managed to engage with many potential partnerships and is fast approaching an exciting new phase and a growing portfolio of projects and contacts. The day was a great success thanks to such an energetic, bright and thoughtful group of individuals. Their input has been of great influence and assistance to MAF and all of us at MAF are very grateful for all their hard work and continued interest and support.
