MAF Films to Train Emergency Health Workers in Haiti

Thanks to support from Wellbeing of Women

As a result of MAF’s budding partnership with the Wellbeing of Women (WoW, the charitable arm of the RCOG) our films will be incorporated into the Management of Obstetric Emergency and Trauma (MOET) course, which is aimed at training Haitians in key lifesaving skills, in Haiti in September.

 

The group of 4 MOET trainers, who are all OB/GYN specialists, includes senior instructor Charles Cox, a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. Not only are they a group of trained experts in the field, but they will also be able to provide us with much needed feedback as to the impact of our training modules in this setting.
