Raving MAF
FLUX Attraction in Lewisham
FLUX is a 16+ rave organised by Olivier Jauniaux (the son of one of MAF’s founders) with all profits going to MAF. Lewisham Council are helping Olivier (who has maintained strong links in the Mayors office since running for Young Major a few years back) with the promotion of the event, which will be held on the 6th November at The Stretch, Goldsmith College Student Union. With sexually transmitted diseases in the borough being one of the highest in Europe, Olivier hopes that, through raising awareness for maternal health issues in the developing world, there will be some overlap with an increase in awareness of the sexual health issues present amongst the boroughs youth itself. The event will host a mixture of music from mainstream pop to rave, house and techno from acts such as The Real Bad Habits. These nights are very popular in Lewisham, so we hope to attract a large crowd, raising vital funds as well as increased awareness for MAF and the cause. For those interested in finding out more about the event please follow the link to FLUX’s facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=149182611767285&ref=ts To buy tickets which are £10 each, please e-mail fluxevent@hotmail.com Thank you so much for your hard work Olivier!
