CONGRATULATIONS to our 2011 London Marathon Heroes

Thank you Jennifer & Mickey

 

Both Michael de Lathauwer (MAF trustee) and Jennifer Bursack have put themselves through gruelling pain and pounded the pavements of London for MAF once again. Their generosity and dedication are vital for raising funds and awareness that allow us to continue to make films and save lives.

 

Mickey managed to beat his time from last year and complete the race in less than 4 hours, bounding across the finish line with an impressive time of 3hrs 53 mins…Fantastic!  Then Jennifer crossed the finish line not long after, successfully completing her 3rd London Marathon.  

 

We cannot thank you both enough and the incredible generosity of your friends and family who supported and sponsored you on your run.

 

With an array of films on the agenda, as a result of positive feedback from field workers across the globe, the money that both Jennifer and Mickey have raised will go directly into our next productions. 

 

We would also like to thank everyone who has raised money for MAF in recent times. This includes Preya Patel who ran the New York Women’s Half Marathon and Anne Juliette Laurencin whose lovely young sons, Baptiste and Timothee, gave up presents for their birthday to raise funds for MAF. 

 

MAF is in need of your help as a result of an increasing demand for new training films. We welcome any and all methods of support and fundraising.
