Shopping is Good for Women's Health

Last month, MAF held a very successful fundraising event at the Ralph Lauren Kids store on the Fulham Road, London.

The event was organised by three of MAF’s supporters, Celia Cattelain, Aurelia Lamorre-Cargill and Amandine Rohmer.

 

 

One of MAFs founders, Professor Eric Jauniaux, gave an inspirational speech to all the MAF supporters and friends present at the event around the need for improved health care for mothers delivering in some of the poorest areas of the world and how simple training films can really have an impact on theirs and their children’s lives. 

 

Combining Ralph Lauren Kids’ donation of 15% of all the sales taken on the night with each of the generous donations from MAF supporters after the event, we raised over £19,000. 

 

As well as these vital funds, which will allow us to make our next set of films addressing caesarean-section in the developing world, the event also inspired new support and awareness for the work that we do and our plans for the future.

 

Thank-you to everyone that attended the event and that so generously donated money to MAF. Thank you again to all of those involved in the organisation and of course a very big thank-you to Ralph Lauren Kids and their staff who dedicated a lot of time and effort to help us on the night.
