Juliette & Glen
Green Monkey Media started life like many other ventures, over a vodka and tonic in a bar in central London. Having worked 40 years between them at the BBC, Glenn Chappell and Juliette Murray-Topham realised they finally had something beneficial to share with their pals working outside of television, mainly in charities and educational institutions.
Green Monkey Media specialises in non-broadcast films: from nursery school teaching aids and ultra-sound courses in developing countries - to unusual wedding videos and charity dramas.
They started their film making careers with the BBC community programme unit which sadly doesn't exist any longer. Here they learnt the art of observational documentary making - using the technique of self-shooting to reflect UK life at its most accurate and often intimate.
For the last 12 years, they've worked closely with police, government authorities, and NGOs to produce detailed and balanced behind-the-scenes look at some of the disturbing lives people experience - winning them high praise.
